  • Performing artists (and if applicable their parent/guardian) who are seeking professional guidance, discussion, education and recommendations in all things performing arts health and wellness. 

What is included?

  • Phone call or Zoom call up to 30 minutes.

  • Professional guidance, discussion, education and recommendations.

  • Increased education, clarity and actionable steps towards desired outome/discussion topic.

Dance Class

For Instructors/Studios

Book GCAA for your studio's next intensive, workshop or weekly class!

 

Workshops and Intensives:

GCAA offers instruction in technique and cross-training as well as a wide range of specialty classes covering topics such as injury prevention, turnout, and upper body strengthening for the artistic athlete. Speciality classes can also be personalized to align with specific corrections and concepts you've been working on in class with your students (e.g., alignment, turns etc.). GCAA also offers interactive educational talks for intensives. 

Weekly Technique and Cross-Training Classes: 

GCAA offers weekly technique and cross-training classes for a duration of up to 16 weeks conducted at your local studio. Technique classes focus on both the artistic and athletic components of performing arts incorporating anatomically sound cuing, and safe practices. Cross-training classes focus on improving aspects of fitness such as cardiovascular endurance and agility through methodical exercises and activities. GCAA is now accepting applications from studios in Florida and the United States Southeast region.

Studio Safety Services: NEW OFFER

This is a specialized offer extended to performing arts studios seeking professional expertise in best practices to increase the safety of performing artists within their studio setting. Studio safety has five steps, 1. Evaluate, 2. Report, 3. Strategic Plan, 4. Implementation, 5. Routine Follow-Up. Laura will complete a thoughtful assessment of your studio's present state and provide a report following containing feedback to inform future practices. If indicated a strategic plan will be created for your studio to carry out. The final step is undergoing a monthly, quarterly, or annual follow-up to certify your studio is operating at peak performance to ensure the continued safety, health and wellness of your performing artists.
